This is not actually a hack:
1. Join Mylot - the registration process is simple and you can update details later
2. Post answers to various questions and discussions. You will also have to tag each answer. For every answer you post, you will get one point. If you are interested in answering questions in a particular category, you can use the search option. There is no limit to the number of answers or questions you can post.
3. The discussions are classified into 3 categories - new questions, hot topics (which are are sometimes controversial) and brain busters (discussions/questions with no replies for a week). Usually, most people have an opinion on hot topics.
4. You can start a discussion, but you will not earn any point, till someone replies to the discussion. Many users are of the opinion that answering questions in the "not answered" section will earn you more money.
5. On average each point is equivalent to US$0.02-0.03 if your answer is at least 2 sentences long. Some users have earned more, especially when their answer was selected as the best answer. It is possible that the earnings per answer will decrease as number of users increase. Some users have reported that by adding images, the amount you earn for each point increases.
6. If you are one of the first persons to answer a question, the chances of getting a best answer are higher. Also answering questions that have remained unanswered for some time will increase your earnings.
7. The page size is not very big, so if you pay per MB of data transfer, you will remain within 500 MB limit
8. Instead of wasting time watching TV, if you spend 2-3 hours daily on mylot, you can earn 100 points everyday. This is equivalent to U$1-$8 daily, just for expressing your opinion!
My lot is relatively new, so it is possible that earnings per post will decline as the number of users increase. Also there is no option available at present to edit an answer which you have already posted. If you have answered a discussion once, and answer again, there is no increase in the number of points.
